CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

-         It´s like a transport system.

-         It carries nutrients and oxygen.

-         It´s made up of:

o   The heart

§  It´s a muscle the size of our fist.

§  It´s in the middle of the chest.

§  It works day and night.

§  It pumps blood to every part of the body.

§  When we exercise it beats faster.

o   The blood

§  It´s a red liquid.

§  It goes around the body.

§  It picks up nutrients and oxygen.

§  It drops off carbón dioxide and waste products.

o   The blood vessels

§  They are thin tubes that go around the body.

§  Blood travels through them to deliver the nutrients and oxygen.
